They industrialized India, they helped usher in the telecom revolution, their FMs dragged India out of several recessions, they introduced sensible environmental protection laws and guidelines, they listened to scientists, they did the best on poverty reduction. Even Modi's own senior economic advisor said they did immensely better on poverty reduction and rural advancement than Modi, who is turning India into an oligarchy like the US and Russia.
