    Trying to file TDS returns. But, I get this:

    * The department is not accepting e-TDS returns filed with older FVU (File Validation Utility). Newly announced FVU and corresponding offline tools will be available on the e-filing portal on the morning of 07/04/2026 after 8 AM.

    Well, it is 11:30 AM on the 8th and the new FVU is still not out. Those useless twat waffles!

    Well... At least they have extended the last date for e-filing of TDS returns (for financial year 2025-26, quarter 4) by a month. That is something, I guess.

    Unironically if they added some grain to it would be amazing not that it doesn't already look great. Quiet a number of modern anime have added some grain, like Frieren. Doesn't have to be heaps, but it does really help with that aesthetic.

    The lighting may also have something to do with it? 1990s anime did lighting a tad differently, I think, which contributed to their whole aesthetic. Cowboy Bebop and the original GITS film by Oshii had a unique look about them simply due to the lighting and how it affected the look of the world and the characters.

    Well, I don't think it really used lens flares for one. xD I also think it generally didn't do the "oily" look at least with basically white, (which is the light outlining part of the characters) that was from the mid 2010s I think. I think also generally the colour palettes were less vibrant and more muted. But yeah a lot of stuff imo.

    Yeah, the colour palettes were not as in-your-face bright as more modern works from the 2010s. They were more subdued.
