There was good spike in OP readership in west during pandemic.US is another big potential for sales ie the biggest manga currently there is MHA which has like 10 million+ copies in circulation for 1/3rd of OP volumes

 

But it's funny how it's a constant theme, where anime which aren't as popular in the EU or Japan, gets massive sales in the WEST kek

 

Different tastes I guess.Bleach was hugely popular there despite being not so popular in EU.I mean Fairy Tail was more popular than it in France
