like 6-7 months or something, usually volumes come out in 3-4 months of each other. The author is busy helping with writing the story for the movie coming out this summer, so that probably explains the hiatus.
Damn then. You normally know that's the case, like when the Berserk manga was on hiatus when the mangaka was helping with the anime series, then it came back for a bit and is now on hiatus again since he is helping with the second season.
Its not that bad tbh, im sure Mahouka's author will be back on track this year. Unless there's a sudden announcement for a season 2 occurs after the movie, but that's a pretty big IF.
Well LNs are harder to adapt tbh, so i can't judge to harshly, but they could have done a better job. To enjoy the series at its fullest, you have to be familiar with the source material, which shouldn't be the case.
I guess so. But it happens to manga too. I guess, it is basically always just to promote the source, so it doesn't have to be a perfect 1:1 if they don't want or it's simply difficult with only a few episodes. Although, you'd think it'd be advantageous to portray it all correctly.
