She's 21 now, the current timeline is 5 years ahead of the old timeline. You can tell she's older at that ending scene too.

Airi was 17 in 2006,Satoru was 29.In 2010 Airi is 21 and Satoru is 33 :/ that's still too old for Airi no? All in all I'm so pissed Kayo ended up with Hiromi..Digimon all over again...So shit...

Well they are both consenting adults, so age is really no longer an issue, personal preferences aside.

Its realistic though, considering they were only elementary students when they seemed to have had a crush on each other and 15 years is a ridiculously long time to hold such feelings. People grow up and their feelings change, so i can appreciate that erased took the realistic approach.
