They're cute now, but they'll grow up to be badasses like their uncle... Hopefully not beaten up as much, every arc had Komamura having his ass kicked.
^ This girl is Ikkaku's younger sister. Her full name is Shino Madarame. Her shikai is unnamed but it's the same as Ikkaku's (transforms into a naginata).
So far we have:
Hanataro's older brother (who is a complete asshole but has healing prowess comparable to Unohana, under whom he served as Lieutenant before Isane)
Mashiro's younger sister (who is responsible and mentally mature, under Akon in Division 12)
Freaking Shino, who is a lot like Ikkaku (hotheaded, rowdy, even has similar Shikai, was transferred to Division 13 because Ikkaku thought 11 would be too rough for her)
So... The "Can't Fear Your Own World novel" is getting crazy. Grimmjow is fighting Luppi, who has created a new Cero-Bala hybrid attack. Harribel and Nel are finally going to fight. Urahara is in trouble and fighting against someone as broken as Aizen. The main antagonist was a classmate of Kyoraku & Ukitake, and he has a Shikai seemingly similar to Kyoraku's. By the way, it looks like Kyoraku is getting deadly serious this time. He's pissed. You know shit is getting real if Kyoraku is pissed.
Yeah... That's a long story. And Mayuri let Luppi go after Grimmjow.
I don't mean Harribel and Nel are going to fight each other. I meany that we're actually going to see them fight someone. Harribel and Nel actually really good friends. Nel saved Harribel from Yhwach's castle and is helping Harribel run Hueco Mundo as her right hand. I think they're about equally strong and Grimmjow is about on their level right now.
Urahara seems to have been targetted specifically because he's seen as an obstacle.
Kyoraku's angry face scared Nanao. And he said he was going to "have a chat" with the Central 46 and the Kinin Noble Assembly. He's serious right now. I think he's out to personally kill the novel's main antagonist.
Clarification: The Kinin Noble Assembly is an administrative body consisting of the heads of the Five Great Noble Clans. The Tsunayashiro clan are on top, Shiba clan used to be second to them, then the other three (Shihoin, Kuchiki, and fifth unnamed clan). The Tsunayashiros have authority on par with or even above the Central 46. And that clan's current heads recommended that the Shiba clan be re-instated into the Kinin, with either Ichigo or his younger sisters being declared clan heads.
That guy looks like he could either be insane or a genius, can't wait to see what he's like.
And why, why the hell did they have to just stop on a cliffhanger. Cliffhangers are the worst...
Also, I just learned that Poe ISN'T force sensitive. I thought this entire time he was, seeing as how fast he reacts to things and seems to have some sixth sense about what's happening, like when he flew towards a wall that was about to explode before it did etc. Didn't Luke give his family some force tree?
He's both insane and a genius. You'll see when you catch up with the novel.
Cliffhangers: That's how I feel Shinji would do things
Poe does have superhuman reflexes. There's no doubt about that. The Force Awakens novelization explicitly states that he has microsecond reactions and even goes out of its way to say that his reactions are beyond that of any other human (barring Force adepts of course).
Oi... You know that big reactor explosion scan I showed you earlier? From the Aphra comic? I just recalled that that's not the first big reactor boom in Star Wars Canon.
Go back and watch the final episode of the Malevolence arc in Season 1 of The Clone Wars. Anakin programmes the ship to crash into the Dead Moon of Antar. She causes an explosion which engulfs much of said moon's surface and even proceeds to violently quake the whole moon. That's easily a continent level feat right there.
So... Shinji's Bankai was banned because it can apparently kill him and indiscriminately kill any of his allies within a few kilometres radius. And it fucks with time somehow?
Holy, I knew it'd be powerful but that's insane. Was thinking it'd be some super precise reversal, like reversing powers and effects etc, but sounds like it just screws everything.
A friend of mine saw some spoilers for Shinji's Bankai on Reddit (he said to take this with a pinch of salt) and described the Bankai as "Kyoraku's Bankai plus Uryu's Antithesis combined".
Once again: He said to take this with a pinch of salt.
Kubo himself confirmed that "Burn the Witch" is in the same universe as Bleach and is set 12 years after the last arc (and 2 years after the last chapter).
Las Noches is freaking huge.
Nel is apparently Kubo's favourite female character? With Rangiku and Orihime following?
Hisagi was always very powerful by Lieutenant standards. So was Kira.
Ichigo is not a doctor at the end of the series. There's something about English literature? What? Ichigo and literature? What?
Ichigo majored in English Literature. Kubo apparently likes Shakespeare.
Isshin is still running the Kurosaki clinic. Yuzu and Karin might one day take over the clinic.
Senna from "Memories of Nobody" was initially conceptualized as Renji & Rukia's daughter from an alternate universe. Ichika is based on her design and is pretty much Senna with red hair.
Unohana was conceptualized as the first Kenpachi from the very beginning of the series. That hairstyle of hers was no coincidence.
So... Kyoraku's Shikai has an interesting "game" which we haven't seen yet.
Yubikiri Genman: Punishes you when you utter lies.
On the first lie, your fingers/hands become paralysed.
On the second lie, your whole body feels like it is being crushed.
On the third lie, you suffer unimaginable pain - all your internal organs feel like they're being stabbed/slashed from the inside.
Executor I and II are pretty much the same. There is no information whatsoever regarding their differences. However, it is interesting to note that the former was referred to as "Command Dreadnought" during development.
Well, this is quite nice. Apparently, the OBD has calcs pegging base Urahara (pre-time-skip) at Island level+ and base Urahara (post-time-skip) at baseline Small Country level. And those are consistent with vsbattles calcs pegging Segunda Etapa Ulquiorra also at Island level+ (triple digit Gigatons).
I always knew Urahara was powerful, but I didn't know he was just always in the top tiers by default powerful. I've always assumed he was weakened by not being active for so long and what we saw in the Blood War was him finally getting his game back.
By the way, a new light novel titled "Espada" is confirmed. Also, voice actors for Hikone and Tokinada (the main antagonists of the "Can't fear your own world" novel) have been finalized.
And, yes. Urahara is crazy powerful - up there with Kyoraku and Aizen no doubt. Aizen legitimately regarded him as one of the few people that could kill him (before Hogyoku fusion).
He's lucky Ulquiorra was so loyal to him then, considering he had no clue about the Segunda Etapa if Ulquiorra is to be believed. Though the rest of the Espada probably would've come to his defense, one waft of Respira and he'd decay faster than he can heal.
So... I haven't gotten caught up with the Can't Fear Your Own World light novel, but I have seen some spoilers.
Things get quite crazy: Tokinada is broken, so is Hikone, Urahara anticipated the Quincy invasion, Gremmy and Rangiku are connected to the Soul King somehow, and it seems Kyoraku is more powerful than we thought.
So the goal of the Can't Fear Your Own World novel's main antagonists is to make a new throne for the new Soul King they want to install. They basically want to turn Karakura into the new Soul Palace. I am not kidding.
Also...
Mimihagi = Soul King's right hand
Pernida = Soul King's left hand
Gerard = Soul King's heart
Gremmy = Soul King's mind/brain
Rangiku = Soul King's... I don't even know...
