Not the DCAU one (yes, the opening three episodes of DCAU JL is considered a film). It was mostly all of them waiting for Batman to do something. He really saved their asses.

Bleach live action film is on Netflix. I watched a bit yesterday. Going to watch it in full today. Everyone I've talked to (including a cousin's husband who is also a huge Bleach fan) says it is quite good.

I'll be checking that out tomorrow then, glad it's not as bad as I feared.

I watched the movie. It was actually quite good. And damn, the fights were great.

So the name of the movie in the end is "Bleach: Shinigami Agent arc". Looks like rumours of a trilogy might be true.

Maybe I'm just being hopeful but the Soul Society doesn't seem too hard to pull off.

Seireitei especially would actually be hard to pull off. It's a city the size of a small country, with structures far larger than anything in real life. But this movie does well. Seireitei look really impressive. Yeah, we see Seireitei, including Byakuya's quarters. Damn they look good... The Rukongai districts are easy to pull off. Just make some huts and have people in traditional Japanese peasant clothing.
