I thought Todoroki's "daddy issues" were gonna be a shitty excuse, but it doesn't seem overly bad, not to mention that his mother scalded his face, considering that, he seems fine. I'm wondering at this point, what's the point of Bakugo because he fills basically the same archetype without being an edgelord. It's basically a superior Bakugo and a rival.

Episode 25? Man the second half of S2 is a KILLER one.

That's correct. I anticipated how the tournament played out, but expected Todoroki to win, but it makes sense why Bakugou did. At least it wrapped up nicely, so part 2 will be not in the middle of the arc lol.

Thats because they air online mostly and the US doesn't get to fck em up.

They're still distributed in physical media too, and it's still Funimation, etc, dubbing.

I think dubs were always fine its just back in the day you'd see the censored for tv version and then you'd learn they changed things and it would make it seem bad. Like in DBZ they called Satan Hercule but then in Kai they actually used Satan.

Back in the day scripts used to deviate from the original in circumstances though, for instance, Goku's whole, "Ally to good, nightmare to you", now they're very inline with the subs.
