I made a kilogram of sweet passata. Yes, a kilogram. 400 grams in the smaller jar, 600 in the larger one. And it is literally only four ingredients: carrots, red capsicum, tomatoes, rock salt.



And it is so good, my mom ate two big table spoons of just sauce.

 

It's good for a week in the fridge or a whole year in the freezer (the latter is if you cover the top of the sauce in the jar with a 0.5 to 1 cm thick layer of olive or cold-pressed coconut oil).

 

Looks delish. That reminds me I had a friend who used to chug tomato ketchup straight from the bottle
