The proposed EU kids act is such bullshit, dudes. How much bullshit?

EA, Activision, Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft are all coming together with gamers/consumers saying it is utter BS, harms gamers, and also harms indie devs especially.

Yup. That is how fukking dumb the act is. Dumb enough to make anti-consumer and anti-competition EA, Activision, Nintendo, Sony, Ubisoft take a stand and side with gamers and indie devs.

 

It isn't just a matter of hurting their bottom line. It adds what we in accounting & legal circles refer to as a "compliance burden". It just fukks everyone up the bum, from small players to the big ones, without discrimination. And, of course, it also bum fukks the end consumer.

Nobody wants additional compliance burden under the guise of "protecting children". Especially so when the people drafting the dumbass law have likely never played a video game in their lives, and a good chunk of them are probably on the Epstein list or have links to Ukrainian/Russian/Georgian child p0rn networks (or both).

There is also the fact that this shite is all just to build an AI-powered surveillance state for the benefit of Nazi-Pedos like Peter Thiel.
