Imagine the situation now.

 

Yes, Modi is becoming a Hindu Nationalist dictator, 10 glaring symptoms.

1) Hero worship

Hitler and Mussolini had the full support of the Italian and German christian community and Modi has it from the majority Hindu community. The most important thing for a person to become a dictator is to have unquestioned and blind support from his or her followers (bhakts), which Modi unfortunately has.

2) Disregard for democratic institutions

We are a democracy with democratic institutions, for a dictator to rise, he or she will have to bypass or disregard these institutions. Modi by choosing electronic media to announce demonetization has disregarded the constitution and the highest democratic institution which is the House of People (Loksabha) .

3) Religious bias

Modi has time and again appeared on RSS platforms and meetings even after being appointed as the Prime Minister, which is a clear encouragement of the Hindurashtra ideology (Ram Rajya in U.P) . The Modi Govt.has banned beef in a country where there are Dalits (so called Lower caste), Muslims, Northeast Indians, Christians and many more consuming beef in day to day life, the reason being exclusively nothing but religious scriptures. Which is a clear unification of religion and the law and order, where the government should be seperating church and state.

4) Extravagance over realism

The Modi boys have time and again talked about and laid out ideas for building the Ram statue, Shivaji statue and Sardar Patel statue in U.P, Maharashtra and Gujarat respectively, instead of actual problems of farmer suicides in Maharashtra and Gujarat and absence of basic amenities in U.P and the constant Hindu-Muslim tension. The drinking water problem of the country is still alive after 70 years of independence, but there are more talks of how inappropriate the Taj Mahal is and why the Ram Mandir should be built, instead of the mosque, and vice-versa.

5) Bashing the predecessor

One of the prime reasons why Hitler came to power is the weakness of the his predecessors. Modi and his friends in the media have consistently bashed the congress for their appeasement politics and their weak kneed decision making. Whatever problems there are in the country, are told to be an adverse effect of the Congress regime since they were in power for most of the time in the post independence era, however the Congress have been successful in maintaining the state of democracy in a newly freed country and has laid foundations for India to be the IT hub of the world, also they have fed the pill of secularism which the Modi Bhakts found too bitter to swallow.

6) Incompetence of the opposition

During the establishment of the Third Reich, there was little to no intellectual opposition in Germany. However, the Modi Govt. is more similar to Mussolini’s fascism.

The Congress has been unable to put up an intellectual fight, due to their poor choice of leader (‘Manchild/Pappu’ Rahul Gandhi) The Congress has stood with Owaisi while the Triple Talaq topic was up for discussion in the house, which is an example of Rahul Gandhi’s demagoguery. The BJP has no real or credible opposition in the country, which is an alarm in a functional democracy, and business as usual in a totalitarian dictatorship.

7) Quoting irrelevant scripture

Religiously conservative nationalist rulers have always used the scriptures to their benefit. You can count yourselves, how many times the BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra quotes the Bhagvad Gita in serious topics of defense strategy, finance, education and administration.

You can do the exercise very easily, whenever you meet someone from the Sangh Parivar (BJP, Bajrang Dal, VHP etc.), just ask them whether they value the Bhagvad Gita more or the Constitution of India, and the answer won't surprise you.

A religious nationalist will always want to unite religion and governance, and Modi Gang is no exception to this tendency. The virtues and personalities of mythological characters like Ram, Durga, Shiv, Krishna, Arjun will seem more credible to them instead of Shahu, Phule, Ambedka, and other progressive leaders.

8) Government in bed with journalism

I will name a few TV news channels

• Republic TV
• ABP News
• Zee News

These news channels have shifted from journalism to becoming a propaganda machinery for the Modi boys. These people have essentially become the Fox News of India.

Just as Fox News pushes for conservative propaganda in the U.S, these networks do the same in India. The problem is the liberal or neutral media in India is not as popular with this idea of pushing for ideology through TV news.

9) Selling Nationalism to illiterate masses

Nationalism is an extreme form of patriotism, mongering pride and conserving tradition instead of reforming it. It is an unhealthy amount of patriotism, which has been a key player in all the past and present dictatorial regimes, from Hitler to Kim-Jong-Un

Modi has always said that he is a Hindu Nationalist in his electoral campaign openly, and people have accepted him as a patriot because they placed their bets on the word ‘Nation' in nationalist, without understanding that nationalism is used as a distraction to real problems in the country. Any critical view of Modi Boys is met with a label of sedition or anti-national, which is a key characteristic of European dictatorships.

10) Assassination of the Free Speech

The Modi regime is not pro freedom of speech, just like its predecessor, only thing is that they are more systematic are shrewd in curbing free speech , for example the recent Padmavat(i) debate, the film was put for reconsideration/alteration and was given a green signal by the censor board panel of historians and was also given a pan India release date, but then systematically banned the movie in 5 different states, no surprise that the majority of the states are BJP led.

Numerous people from the Modi camp, came out and spoke against Sanjay Leela Bhansali lecturing him on his responsibility towards history but none seemed to be bothered enough to put the multiple death threats on national television in check. India was always been a mile away from true free speech with amendments needed in the constitution itself but thanks to Modi Beheading Mafia we will be a light year away from it by the time they are done fondling with the country.

 

Anyone who thinks Modi is doing anything good for the Indian economy is deluded.

 

I dont think modi is on same level as hitler or Mussolini you are exaggerating a bit.

Truth is india always looked upto cult of personality.

Whether it's good or not is upto debate. Cult of personality has never been good for the country .I personally think the present government has not delivered expectations .

I think only solution is introduction if private sector to help in lift in poverty.

Country need someone like Deng who can encourage more startup culture and build infrastructure.

 

How about move to South of India like bangalore , Chennai.

Private sectors might not be viable in your state. I suggest doing Data science,AI or cloud they are hotcakes in industry right now.

 

The RSS was literally inspired by Hitler and Mussolini, and Modi ticks a lot of the same boxes as the latter. He's pretty much discount Mussolini.

Recall the pogroms under Modi when he was CM of Gujarat? And then again in Delhi in February 2020? Remember how he probably allowed Pulwama to happen? There is also the issue of VVPAT trails for the 2019 LS elections being disposed of eight months prior to Election Commission and SC laid guidelines, which raises doubts about the legitimacy of those elections. And then you have a sitting MP (from my own constituency, by the way, and I have met this motherfucker personally) vandalizing the official residence of the CM of ******* Delhi with a mob of rabid zealots, and no action is taken against him?

Yes. But... The cult of personality we've seen with Modi has not been seen since the liked of Indira Gandhi. Remember what she did? We're in pretty much an undeclared emergency with this asshat anyway.

The only reason we haven't seen a full-blown emergency yet is because of the robust mechanisms put in place by Nehru and Ambedkar. Even the Indira Gandhi emergency couldn't make us fall into the trap of third world countries going full dictatorial.

 

The private sector will not help one bit. The entire sector is looting people and making us rebranded slaves. The only way for development to happen is to overthrow the current government and create a socialist welfare state.

 

Gotta laugh at how people rail against socialist welfare states as unpractical when literally dozens of nations have successfully implemented a mixed economy for decades and done well (even India under Manmohan Singh, which saw unprecedented levels of poverty eradication in independent India). Their alternative is an economic system that has time and again proven a failure in the US and India under Modi, and which is killing the planet.

I mean honestly the current government also provides subsidies massively when election is there. Look at UP babaji still distributing freebies with his and Maggi ji's photo on it one of the main reason for BJP's victory lol

 

Venezuela did that they overthrew capitalist regime and look at Chavez he has ruined Venezuela economy.

Where do you get money for welfare ?? You need to increase tax on rich . Imagine doing that private sectors will move to Vietnam and Phillipines.

The country which has implemented has less population and high standard of living.

Even Norway,Denmark the ideal socialist regimes taxes their citizen at least 40 percent.

 

If a nation cannot provide basic welfare to its citizens it does not deserve to exist. I am not saying that welfare should be limitless but basic welfare should be provided. I am also in favour of a mixed economy while slightly leaning towards socialism to ensure that there is no slippage to full blown capitalism.

 

This is so disgusting. Why do people fall for it.

 

Please do not tell me Modi's photo is on Maggi packets now. I might go crazy.
