    You can argue two sides of the same coin, so it's sort of pointless. Not everyone is gonna like the same things, so the other opinion is that those shows shouldn't be on a pedestal, or are bad. MHA blew up and is mainstream, so I wouldn't be surprised if lots of it is babby's first anime, or just people that don't care outside of those large popular few.

    yeah part of it is it's popular and mainstream so everyone is hopping in for the ride. Yeah, it's their opinion but i can criticize as much as i like. I'm caught up with the manga and it has lost steam ever since where the anime left off. It has potential to be really good but it doesn't capitalize on it.

    I'm not saying you can't criticize it, but just don't want you wasting your time debating to a point that wouldn't change, but you're free to do so as much as they are. I'd imagine some of it to is like Dragon Ball, Naruto, etc, people of that generation that was their "childhood cartoon" or is, so there's no doubt personal bias as well.

    just to be clear I'm not saying it's a bad series by any means. I just think it's a bit out there to call it the best when you have heavyweights like one piece naruto hxh. Boku no hero is a young series and it needs to distinguish itself from the rest of the roster.

    I just meant it's like talking to a wall with fanbases lol. I very much enjoy MHA, but it's certainly not without its faults.
