Hot take 2: naruto games increase respect for side characters that never got the opportunity to shine

For example, characters that barely got any spotlight can be enjoyed to your hearts extent in pvp and in some cases the story mode (Ultimate Ninja 5 allowed you to roam the world with any member of k11)

 

well LA tends to boost sales more than anime if manga already has anime since it opens door for new readers

Nvr played any. My ex roommate used to play them but he never watched Naruto. He said the newest game with Boruto sucks donkey balls

dunno what changed since i doubt new gen char should affect the game that much hmmm

 

Oh the newer ones have been atrocious.

I'm talking the older gen games like the Ultimate Ninja series, Clash of Ninja and even those Ubisoft games. They all allowed you to get a good look not only into how cool every characters fighting style is but also allowed you to play through some of the aspects of the story that were left offscreen. For example team guy has horrible representation in the series and Neji and TenTen for example have only one fight which is against their clones and it was mostly off screen.

In the games you actually get to play through those segments and see the characters use their techniques and combos.
