    Hello there, it seems I have stumbled upon another small community of awesome people. I guess I should introduce myself.

    Name is Raith, and I have been a fan of anime for almost 10 years now. My first anime was Dragon Ball Z back when I was still a youngster, but my gateway show was Naruto in 2005. I would make sure to watch it every week, and I even collected some of the merchandise from the show (such as those dorky headbands me and my friends would wear...) As for manga and other aspects of Japanese culture, I have been interested in both since around 2003 when Shonen Jump was first being published over here.

    I cannot say I have been consistently a fan however, as during my years in highschool I stopped watching anime all together for the most part as well as reading manga. I only picked up reading manga again when I started University, and I started watching anime again around this time last year.

    Anyway's, that's my story. Hope to talk to some of you guys soon. See you guys around!

    I have to say Digimon/Naruto/Dragon Ball z are the series that got me into anime/manga etc. So my guess is a lot of people would have started through naruto, no?
