Each of the noble families seems to have some common trait as an identifier:
Tsunayashiros: All fukking psychopaths.
Kuchikis: Piercing black or indigo eyes and a strict sense of duty.
Shihoins: Dark skin, golden eyes, the signature smug Shihoin smile.
Shibas: The strong Shiba nose bridge, strong sense of empathy and honour.
Ukitakes: Skinny, soft eyes, strong sense of empathy and kindness.
Omaedas: Fat and creepy.
Feng family: Petite, always angry.
Kira family: Gloomy, depressed.
Ise family: Beautiful priestesses with bad eyesight and needing spectacles.
Kyorakus: Sexy cheek bones.

Final episode: Death & Strawberry
The name of the first manga chapter and also the last manga chapter.

The episode takes place in early to mid June 2013, exactly ten years after the end of the Quincy Blood War.

Developments in Soul Society:

* Soul society is rebuilding. Kyoraku has initiated reforms, with relations between the Seireitei and Rukongai seemingly improving.

* Kyoraku regularly visits Ukitake's grave and has a sip of sake in his honour.

* Nanao has taken over Unohana's role as the scariest woman in the Seireitei. Do not make her repeat herself. And especially do not make her take off her spectacles.

* Sui-Feng & Omaeda have not changed at all.

* Rose has also not changed. Izuru seems to have fully recovered and helping Rose with "performances".

* Isane is now the captain of Division 4. Kiyone, her younger sister, was promoted from Division 13 3rd seat to Division 4 lieutenant.
Fun Facts:
- It has been confirmed that Isane's zanpakuto is an ice/snow type with healing properties.
- Kiyone was transferred from Division 4 to Division 13 by Yama-jii, because he wanted Ukitake to have an officer skilled with Kaido looking after him. Yama-jii really cared. But with Ukitake's passing, Kiyone is now back to her original squad.

* Shinji & Momo are getting along. Man, glad to see Momo so cheerful and happy. Shinji has been good to her.

* Byakuya & Renji have carried on their respective roles. Renji likely pulled a Sasakibe and chose to stay under his captain/bro-in-law's command. Dude could have easily been a captain at this point.

* Tetsuzaimon Iba is now captain of Division 7. We know from Kubo that he mastered bankai before Rukia. This is only because Rukia's bankai is so problematic for the user herself.

* Lisa is now Division 8 captain. We knew she was captain level even during the Hollowfication incident back in the 1890s. She has likely since achieved and mastered bankai.

* Kyoraku has loosened up the Gotei 13 dress codes a bit. This is evident from the like of Lisa, Yuyu, and Naru.

* Kensei, Shuhei, Mashiro are carrying on as is with Division 9. Shuhei has mastered bankai. And, from what I read in the novels, he would honestly destroy his own captain and likely half the captains in the Gotei 13. He is likely the second most powerful lieutenant after Renji, but arguably the deadliest because his bankai is just that broken.

* Division 10 is also carrying on as is. Hitsugaya has very likely been training to master his true bankai. Rangiku hasn't changed at all, and is implied to be just as lazy as ever.

* Kenpachi has increased mastery over his zanpakuto, as evidenced by the slight changes in its hilt (which indicates deeper imprinting and mastery). His sense of direction is still just as bad. Ikkaku has been promoted from 3rd seat to lieutenant. Yumichika has been promoted from 5th seat to 3rd seat.

* Mayuri carrying on as always. Also installed a new surveillance grid in Seireitei. Nemuri Hachigao is his new "daughter", likely having been created from Nemuri Nanagao's recovered brain. Akon has deservedly been promoted to lieutenant of Division 12. Well fukking done.

* Rukia has been promoted to Division 13 captain. This was foreshadowed back when Ukitake, as he was releasing Mimihagi, apologized to Rukia for leaving things in her hands. Sentaro Kotsubaki has been promoted from 3rd seat to her lieutenant.

* Aizen in Muken seems to be contemplating things. Not sure if he might be reforming. He might have just been voicing his negative opinions on Yhwach's plans. Aizen never wanted what Yhwach wanted. He just wanted to lord over the realms as they are now, and he recognized death as integral to evolution of individuals and society as a whole.

* Uryu is now a doctor at his father's hospital, after likely having patched up their relationship and getting over his objections to medicine. It is confirmed that he is a paediatrician.

* Chad is a world champion boxer.

* You can see that the boxing tournament Chad is fighting in was sponsored by Y.Hans Enterprise. Yukio set up that company with his fortune. He uses it as a front to gather and train Fullbringers who were orphaned or rejected by family & society. Riruka is confirmed to work for his company's fashion line, while Jackie is also on board in a high position. Chad is also associated with them in some professional capacity.

* Hiyori is now working for Mrs. Unagiya, who seems to be using the old Visored warehouse as a branch of sorts.

* Rukia & Renji are married and have a daughter. She was named Ichika in honour of Ichigo. She has Renji's hair, Rukia's eyes, and Kenpachi's eagerness to fight. The design of the tsuba on her zanpakuto heavily implies it is an elemental (lightning) type zanpakuto.

* Ichigo & Orihime are married and have a son. His name is Kazui. He has Ichigo's hair & Orihime's eyes, but also Orihime's face and cheerful personality. He also has shinigami powers, and seems capable of transforming into a shinigami at will.

* I don't know if I remember exactly, but I think Orihime works part time as a kindergarten teacher. Ichigo works as a translator and English literature specialist.

After watching the last episode, you can read the "No Breaths From Hell" one-shot. It is the starting chapter of the "Echoing Jaws of Hell arc" (or just Hell arc, for short).

 

Depends on when. I might either be dealing with a case or on the road at the time. This will be a rather crazy week for me. Next week as well.

Episode 10 was a nice and cosy wrap up. They definitely couldn't cover everything, but I hoped to see Urahara atleast. 10 years later the reconstruction of the Seretei is almost complete. Shunsui pays homage to the GOAT Ukitake. RIP. Rukia is a captain now! So is Iba lmao. Shinji is back to being a captain, wonder why Hiyori didn't go back to the soul society. Ichigo got the Naruto treatment with that haircut lmao Uryu was enjoying his lunch break at his clinic, Orihime a housewife now. Everyone is grown up :') Rukia and Ichigo's children both are the cutest, and they're both soul reapers (duh). Looks like some remenants Yuhabaha's power were left and my man Kazui just fingered it into oblivion Yhwach told Ichigo while he was being axially sectioned that because of him people would continue to fear death and struggle, Aizen's monologue was peak. Humanity has courage and that's what keeps us going. Number 1 playing at the end was icing on top. At the end Ichigo's foot (I guess) stomped on despair and it now read brave. Peak. We wouldn't see the likes of Bleach again.
