Man my body is so shit. I wear like M/L and it's so shit finding clothes.

Literally 90% of clothes don't fit me. Either too snug or sleeves too short.

I wanna cry man.

 

It really is, I am so mad, I have so many thins to return and I swear I'll get blacklisted at this point from ever ordering

 

Ah... Someone who understands my pain. I have the same issue, mate. Exact same. Whatever size I buy, it is either too tight or too loose, making me look like weird either way. I just can't find anything that is just right. Except in formals, which I can have tailored or altered to my liking; I just buy one or two sizes extra and have them tucked.

Yeah. Fukked beyond all reason. M in one brand can be L in another or something else entirely. This is why I look at measurement-based sizes and buy only from like three brands that I know I can trust when it comes to fit, quality, and comfort.

Thankfully, I live in South Bangalore. I have a lot of quality stores that I can visit in-person and try clothes out before buying. All within like a ten minute walk.

The last time I binged on clothes, I spent about INR 10,000/- (about AUD 185) and that included two formal pants, two formal shirts, a formal blazer, and a pair of slip-on semi-formal shoes that go for any occasion. That was about two months ago, and it was all for the sake of two weddings. Otherwise, I don't spend much on clothes. I rarely even do buy clothes, actually.

 

India is also a major textile hub for the world. Almost everything you get here is made here, and they are sold for a reasonable price. Only some big brand name clothes are made in Bangladesh or China, then shipped here and sold for five to ten fold for the fukk all brand value and all the "overheads" that it entails. Heck, a friend of my dad's owns a factory in rural Karnataka that makes clothing for some big UK and French brands.
