I'll be real, media was lying to us whole summer how the prices in Croatia by the sea are too expensive.

Tfw it's calm. Like it's fair af.

 

Something that's affordable for you doesn't mean it is for everyone
Also food and fuel prices are where most inflation is alongside land and properties

 

It may be affordable for you, but the locals have probably seen their savings eaten into.

 

The price is like 3 euros on average more expensive, that's calm.

For example a pizza in my region is
8 euros, at the sea is 11-12.

That's not expensive at all, the way our media is portraying prices at the sea, it's as if we need to pay 20 for a pizza.

 

Only thing I can agree that IS expensive is the apartment prices, the rest is calm.

 

Probably becoz people are not eating pizza everyday like normal poor or lower middle class. They need bread,oil,meat,eggs, vegetable and prices of those have increased becoz both russia and Ukraine are big producers of food.
Let's say those things may not affect you becoz EU has a very robust policy and slight increase doesn't hurt you but outside EU let's say in African countries prices skyrockets becoz EU and other bigger or richer economies will hijack most grains to feed its people.

An example will be Egypt where price of wheat tripled in last 5 years while it's per capita fluctuated and has been same now at least in Nominal term which mean they have to either pay that additional amount from their pocket or stay hungry.

 

Again you will probably feel that way becoz maybe that effects you most for othery it maybe price of say loaf of bread which they can only afford like half of what they used to day 5 years ago

 

Bro I'm not going so deep I'm saying media is portraying price bumbs like it went from 8 to 20 near the sea. It's no where near what they are saying.

 

Been seeing some old One Piece moments pre-timeskip...man...I forgot how great Vivi's farewell moment was/is.
