Nintendo games are in high standard anyways? Like Nintendo games don't miss, I do understand why'd they get defensive over it though.

The crux of the situation is if Nintendo or any multi billion corp is suing people who actually rip them off that's fine but these kind of things the multi billion corps do make the detestable in every way.
And they do it often like don't know they actually believe they are doing something worthwhile or it's just out of pity for poor people

Yeah but Nintendo is in high regard and puts so much effort into their games for people to just use it for free and potentially do something Nintendo doesn't agree off.

Like I get what you are trying to say that it's free blah blah blah but damn, I really don't find it weird them defending and shutting down anything Nintendo didn't make since yeah...their games are already amazing in that regard, why tarnish and potentially hurt the brand if the free game gets popular and sucks?

Idk man, I feel like Nintendo being Nintendo, at least for me is right in that way. Though I also DO agree they shouldn't be so harsh in some smaller stuff like modding or something, but making a whole new game is at least for me, a no no.
