There are many free to play games out there based on established IPs that are for everyone to try for FREE. There are many Halo knock-offs out there and Microsoft not only doesn't give a shit about them - Fukking Microsoft! - but have actually taken those modders on-board to help at 343 Industries with the official game.

There are also free remakes of some Star Wars titles out there and Disney doesn't give a shit. Disney! Again: Disney!!!

It is in no way a copyright violation if you make a game based on an established IP - wasting your own time, money, and resources - to put it out for FREE for everyone to enjoy. It would be considered a fan-made tribute and nothing more. It only becomes a violation if you put it out for a price, thus making a profit by piggy-backing on the popularity of an established IP owned by someone else.

And stop calling it a felony. It is not a felony.

Well Nintendo is pretty defensive about their IP's because it's not available anywhere but Nintendo. All their IP's are exclusive to their console, making free games on other systems is already bad for them, because they didn't explore that thing yet.

See it like this, someone takes Super Mario, puts it on PC for free and Nintendo loses money? How's that not a bad thing? Furthermore if the game people makes are not even what Nintendo stand for?

Ofc it's a felony, you have no rights to use it, where would people be if anyone could use anyones IP? Pokemon games are already moded and Nintendo doesn't really care as much as I've seen.

You can't really hate a company for defending their IP's, especially Nintendo who's games are like masterpieces everytime for these IP's.

Nintendo is profiting because their games and systems are God tier everytime.

Stop defending the indefensible. There is being protective of your IP, and then there is being outright malignant.

There is a difference between (A) outright porting an existing title to a different platform it was never intended for by the original makers (something that they have a right to crack down on) and (B) making simple fukking mods or F2P titles that one does not profit from at all (indeed the maker is actually a loss).

As someone who has actually gone to law school:
Your insistence on using the term "felony" for fukking game modding and simple copyright infringement is making the veins in my temple throb.

    Again:
There is defending an IP. And then there is being a bunch of malicious wankers who hate their fans.

What else is copyright infringement? It's against the law? Is it not?

Idk, I don't see the appeal of someone using someone elses IP, make something original then, why take someone elses IP?

Idk how you don’t see the bad side of a random donny making a game for an IP which already exist when having no rights to use it.

I don't understand you though, I don't get what's wrong with Nintendo defending their IP.

I'd like to understand you but I just don't. What's even wrong here about Nintendo? They defend their IP and don't allow anyone to use their names. That seems fine to me kek

F2P or not, I do understand why Nintendo doesn't allow it. I mean if you deep it, why would they risk someone making a shit game and then attracting bad reviews and stuff for something Nintendo didn't even do?

He is the most stubborn dude even on shit he doesn't understand and will never back down from his opinion. There's no point trying to discuss/inform him. You literally just waste your time lol.

Nice! Mine is still stuck in hell so going to buy a key.

    @JoeJoe

It seems Samsung is putting out software updates that are actually doing something and improving performance. Their latest update did some shit in my old man's Galaxy A13. It went from constant stutters even when typing to somewhat smooth everyday performance. And this is in a device with a very weak SOC and only the bare minimum RAM that smartphones should have these days.

Any updates for you guys that have shown performance improvements or is this an India only deal?

Update also boosted battery life. My Galaxy A51 and my old man's A13 actually have improved battery life after the last patch (in addition to smoother performance).

The A13 is lasting 2.5 days on a full charge. My A51 is also lasting 1.5 days even when using mobile data. And this is a four year old model known for average battery endurance.

They should keep this up. This is phenomenal software support.

We know Sharingan can copy handwriting. That is truly hilarious.

    Samsung:
We're going to give all our phones 4 OS upgrades and 5 years of patches (7 years for flagships).

    Oppo and OnePlus:
Best I can do is 2 OS upgrades and 3 years of patches (3 OS upgrades and 4 years of patches for flagships).

    Motorola:
You'll be getting 1 OS upgrade and 3 years of patches, and they're all going to be delayed. And you will like it, bitch! I know we promised 3 OS upgrades, but take it with a pinch of salt, ya gullible little shit.

    Nokia:
LOL dafuq are you guys on about?
