Well...I don't have problems with it? Though, I'm gonna be tehnical here, but if the same is say running in 60 fps and your mouse is moving on the native 144hz screen, you still see the difference no? because the mouse moves on the native 144hz (game shouldn't be affected by this).

if the game was affected by 144hz, EVERY and I mean EVERY player who has a better PC will have a massive advantage. I am certain say Fortnite, runs on the same settings for everyone because it would be pointless having some players stuck on 60 and some on 60+.

it's the monitor hz which matters here IMO, because if I play the game on 60 fps and 60 hz screen I see the difference. Same how if I play the game with 60 fps and have a 144hz screen, my mouse still feels more responsive overall is it not?

 

yeah but everygame must be capped movement wise on some FPS, otherwise people with 240 hz will have such a big advantage over 60 hz players that it would be impossible to balance.

Even PS5 games, all are capped on 60 FPS (I think) and you having a 144hz monitor changes absolutely nothing. At least in FPS, the cursor movement is enough because if I can aim faster, I kill faster no?

Otherwise why'd anyone buy 144hz monitors if 99% of the games can't even reach those fps?

 

Even Monster Hunter for example can't

yeah but you don't even play FPS games and say Monster Hunter I highly doubt it reaches 165 fps on your 165hz screen.

Idk, at least from my experience, I've seen a difference so much that at least for my consuption, I am fine with more hz, idk

I only play single player action or rpg (no shooters) so all that stuff wouldnt make a difference to me lol
