    But a hundred Euro?

The dragon types are special xD

In a sane time period and/or country, this man would be put on the same level as we do RaGa currently.

That's the standard price, that’s normal in EU

Even after adjusting for PPP, that's way too much. It's like the equivalent of INR 2,500 to 3,000 here. A very high quality and very durable shirt of the same type from a brand like Jockey - which would last 10+ years - would cost a sixth of that.

Damn, Europe is expensive as ****. This is why my brother-in-law shops for clothes here instead of there.

But you also need to keep in mind it's a football kit so you are paying for Adidas branding quality and the teams branding.

I do agree that kits are already way too overpriced but tbh the quality is really really good

And for a cost of like INR 100 to 200 (Euro 1.25 to 2.50).

To be fair, if he were to buy it there wouldn't the shipping + import duties/VAT/Tax whatever make it probably almost the same anyway?

I call bullshit on that. I'm a practising auditor and studying a CMA course right now, and I call bullshit on that in a professional capacity. Even with such overheads, these companies can still afford to sell those shirts at a third of that price and still make a decent profit. It's blatant price gouging. I know. I know. That term is normally applied for basic essentials, but I believe its use is warranted here.

Definitely. It's pretty shit. They also seem to like to make things in such a way they need to be replaced every few years instead of lasting a longer time like they used ot.

I remember when Samsung Galaxy smartphones were made to last 5+ years. I have relatives who used Galaxies for that many years (in one case 7-8 years). Now you'll be lucky if they last even 3 years.

Ditto for clothes. I have clothes from high-school and college that I can still wear. And then there are modern day counterparts which don't last four years.

In come cases though, you do indeed get what you paid for. I have an Adidas jacket from 2005 or 2006 that I can still wear (including in heavy rain). I thought it was expensive and overpriced as **** at the time. But the fact that I can still use it 15-16 years later is a testament to its quality. That one certainly justified its price-tag.

However, I doubt you can find that kind of tough quality these days in a comparable price range (after adjusting for inflation).

Yup, it's a mixed bag, but more often than not it's the shit experience.
