    1440p display in a laptop is going to drain more battery power, generate more heat, put more stress on what is actually an upper middle class GPU.

    Asus makes literally the same line of laptops with the same specs and 1080p display.

    Forgot to add earlier:
    1080p vs 1440p in a 14 inch or 15.6 inch laptop is absolutely not worth the extra money. You won't notice the difference on a small display like that. You can get 1080p for less money but same specs.

    I assume the idea is not that he can't buy it, but it does make it a bit easier to pay over some time then at once. xD I think I did my macbook via afterpay, what was it 1k limit or 1.5k limit then, I had to pay the difference and 1/4, then it was split over a payment every 2 weeks for a total of 8 weeks. Can be comfy. Obviously, like with a credit card, you just don't wanna get in a position of putting everything on deferred payments and just ******* yourself. But it's useful if you don't have a credit card.
