Pettiness lol Modi promised Bihar 150,000 crore for development back in 2015 election but lost. His alliance won in 2020. He still hasn't released the money

150000 crore should amount to like 20 billion USD I believe which is like 1/5th of Bihar GDP so not a promise he is gonna keep anyway

Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal are leftist they will drag india back to socialist era so think carefully whom you want to vote in future. Do you want to capitalism to flourish or want good old soviet era socialism congress did for 60 years.

Modi is still doing lot of reform especially in EV segments and startup culture . I still think this govt needs to do lot but socialist and communist dont like wider reforms like workers law , land acquisition .

Even Xi Jinping or Deng wont succeeded in india if reform are slow .

CCP in china literally centralized everything and were willing to take pain when reformation started in 80s.

I think modi is only person who can do this but at times he is scared to take the bullets when communist and socialist dont allow reforms to happen.

Overall not sure with this current govt but dont expect Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal will change this country if they are in power they will bring back good old soviet era policies created by Nehru and Indira Gandhi .

Making manufacturing powerhouse is not play school. My pops runs electronic manufacturing industry you need lot of raw material , high productivity, flexible labour laws and greater efficiency.

Govt has actually progressed in these things however the red tapes of good old india bureaucracy hinders lot of things . India is very much decentralized and Central govt cannot do much when the real power are in hands of tax officers.

In China everything is simplified if tax officers in china harrased them or demands bribes . The system is very efficient in a way the CPC will find out because they hold the real powers .

China basically won manufacturing power of this era. India woke up too late china upped the game.

I think everyone here unanimously agree modi's govt is no different than good old congress regime. He still uses Dr Singh's economy policy.

Why I think people still vote for modi ??

There are many reason . Religious polarization is just part of it even with high inflation and unemployment. People still believe country needs a strongman and opposition looks very weak .

Rahul Gandhi is not fit for politics, Kejriwal is too far left , I dont want to add regional leader they are no different.

People still believe modi can do reforms . He is unfortunately doing at snail pace imo . The only part I dont like about him is pandering to polarization politics he seems to mastered the art in it lol . If he mastered art of faster reforms maybe he will be seen as next Deng.

India definitely need strongman if Manmohan singh had qualities of strongman and had real powers he would have made country reach new heights.

Probably becoz you don't live here. If you come here try visiting any small town you will realise the problem. The inflation is currently on different scale and its hitting middle class and poor very very hard. Cooking oil cost has doubled to tripled in last 2 to 3 years. LPG is being sold at ₹1000 up from ₹350 when Congress left power.

American style capitalism will turn India into Russian oligarchy of very different scale which it is slowly becoming. World's largest cricket stadium in Gujarat is Named Narendra Modi stadium with two stands named Ambani and Adani.

The reason Modi won 4 states this month is literally becoz of subsidy. The performance was so poor in every field that it doubled and tripled down on subsidy and food grains for poor and poorest.

Rahul or Kejriwal are not leftist, they are opportunistic while Modi is also opportunistic he has also sold people the opium of religion which makes them blind followers and ignore any fault.
Kejriwal is also peddling soft hindutva and nationalism BS so not a leftist.

Socialism alone is not gonna work but unrestricted capitalism will turn India into slave labour market on something like China was but worse. India literally has zero laws for protection of workers. The exploitation will be on different scale with a bandage of worlds largest democracy every time someone criticizes it.
