If Sasuke was blinded and the last fight was actually the resolve between Naruto and Sasuke (if Sasuke did the war and shit) that would have made much more sense, but in the end what did we get?

War ended and ******* Naruto vs Sasuke happened despite them working TOGETHER through whole war, WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

 

It's not, it needed to happen. For us it's nostalgia, but now in Boruto IIRC there are things stronger than Rinnegan and Kurama. We grew up with it so yeah it sucks, but plotwise for Boruto to continue, mangaka needed to destroy Naruto and Sasuke for Boruto to have any plot relevancy, if that didn't happen Boruto manga would highly focus on Naruto and Sasuke again because of their power.
