I have an aunty in Detroit (mom's older sister) who says that if she or her husband need heart surgery, it'd be cheaper for them to fly back to Bangalore, stay with relatives here for a few weeks, then fly back to Detroit.

Hell, white Americans already are doing that. They come here to get surgery in one of Aster's hospitals in Bangalore, for example, stay at five a star hotel for a couple of or even a few weeks, then fly back to good old 'Murica. And the total cost for them still ends up 10 to 20% of what it would have cost in 'Murica.

Citizens from one of the world's wealthiest and most technologically advanced countries flying to a poor and underdeveloped/developing nation for cheap healthcare...

I've also heard stories of 'Muricans running off to Mexico to get cheaper meds and treatment there.
