Kishimoto is such a bad writer he failed to kill any major char in some 200 chapters of war apart from Neji and that was literally done so Hinata and Naruto becone close abd they don't have interaction for next 85 chapters.

There was something, which I couldn't put my finger on, that made me just not interested in going past that episode. But as I said, I'll try to give it a chance.

Yeah, when you look closely, the Naruto Manga is full of questionable "values" and controversial concepts. You can point out something off in every character's story/arc. Creating a coherent story from the pieces he put here and there through the characters he introduced was apparently difficult, maybe Kishi as a writer just couldn't handle that many characters while keeping them in complete consistency without creating more loopholes and sacrificing some characters along the way. But this series has its bright spots despite everything, not gonna lie.

 

Also **** everyone who says Merry was just a "SHIP". No, Merry was a crewmember and had one of the most emotional deaths in whole manga. Anime did a wonderful job capturing emotions. It's so sad. I don't think I've ever cried as much to a scene like I did when Merry "died".

Though Series has some great moments like Zabuza's breakdown, Chunin exams(especially Rock Lee vs Gaara) ,Konaha vs Sound 5,Akatsuki fights, Itachi's reveal, Madara taking dump on everyone and NvsS final one.

And considering i was on sticky pairing thread riling loj and his husband shaz for a year and many SS fans were there kishi most likely planned them to be together since part 1 but it was development and execution that was gutter level
