becoz physical sales of series is tanking.it was demoted to V Jump from Wsj. V jump has like 10% of readers compared to Wsj and mostly focused on pre teens.

They do need something to wank about and not spend money(you know becoz that actually helps manga) so when someone said reading free on an app counts as sales people jumped in
