Consider carefully your purchase.

I would advise against investing in a 5G NR mmWave phone right now. The only other good reasons to get the S20+ are for gaming, durability, and camera.

You're better off settling for a Galaxy A71 (the 4G version, not the 5G) and using it for two to three years; though you will be sacrificing a bit in build quality (what do you expect for 40% the price of S20?) you will still get a decently powerful (and cooler running) SOC and camera; the A71 also has much better battery life and a fantastic display (for its segment) that supports HD content streaming.

Another good option might be to wait for the Galaxy S20e.

If you do go for an S20+ just make sure you will take care of it and use it for 5+ years.

Save money. Go to Japan. Meet tiny Japanese girls who can eat twice as much as you.

Why be careful avoiding 5g mobile? Any reasons?

 

It'll take another two to three years for 5G mmWave to deeply penetrate even more important markets than Croatia with plans that are a good bang-for-the-buck and with lot more 5G bands (a lot of which a current 5G device may not support). Another problem with investing in 5G mmWave right now is that you have support only on devices that fall into the premium and flagship segments, which are just not cheap.

I made the mistake of getting one of the first 4G LTE phones to release in India. It did not support a lot of bands and the 4G reception was not great.

It only makes sense to get a 5G mmWave phone right now (most of which are either premium or flagship segment) if you have the money to throw around for a costly device with a Snapdragon 765G or Snapdragon 865 or Exynos 900 SOC, and to spend on a plan that may not work out well in the long term in terms of bang-for-the-buck. Let someone richer or someone more reckless with their money take that leap.

 

I don't even carea bout 5G network, I use 3G mostly and we don't even have 5G in Croatia yet xd

 

Only a handful of countries have 5G right now: South Korea, Japan, China, US, UK, Germany. Switzerland and the Nordic countries are next.
