@upsurge met an old friend today. He ia from Chattisgarh used to be with me in coaching institute. I started bitching about poor air quality in delhi how it over 500 AQI

He laughs and tells me and says its nothing. I am shocked. Then he takes out his mask and tells me that he staying in Greater Noida(or Ghaziabad don't remember correctly) where AQI was 1200+ during 1 and 2 November when he landed

 

Yes. I have a client from Ghaziabad. He confirmed. Greater Noida and Ghaziabad both have worse air quality than Delhi right now due to the farm burnings in Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh; and all that pollution is going straight to the NCR's outer rims.

As for Delhi itself . . . At least that crazy fool Kejriwal is doing something; whereas Modi and his fatass, arrogant, ignorant, scientifically illiterate bedfellows continue to sit on their asses instead of declaring a national climate emergency despite 400 million people facing the risk of water scarcity and being vulnerable to poor air quality. They seem more worried about getting Amit Shah's son and the brother of the previous BJP CM of Himachal Pradesh to top posts in the BCCI, completely ignoring the Supreme Court's BCCI reform guidelines laid down in 2017.
