What a retard family, makes me mad as ****. When I come home from work and I see my dogs jumping on fence just to get near them fuking warms my heart and imagine if I get rid of them, maan I would knock myself out if I ever did that.

Like you can't just abandon them, like **** off man

 

It's not about mandatory chipping because if they're really going to be left somewhere it'd be dangerous to take them back
If you can't look after a dog don't get out
But if a situation happens where you can't anymore take the effort to rehome them

Unfortunately @Marin is right. Most assholes who do this see their pets as disposable toys/commodities, not as living & breathing creatures.

Note: It should be noted that some people abandon pets because they can't afford to care for them any more. Still, the assholes could at least try to find them a better home where they'll be taken care off.

I mean... My mother hates the idea of keeping pets. But even she gets completely heartbroken when she sees abandoned pets. Just last night she was saddened when we saw a starving dog on the sidewalk near Palace Grounds, Bangalore. And the dog had a F@cking collar around his neck. The poor son of a bitch was probably abandoned.

I hate people who think of dogs as expendable, or any pet. A friend of mine got rid of their dog because his hair was longer than they thought it would be, what do you think will happen when they're crossed with a pomeranian? I treat my pets like family, because they are. Even if not blood they're still a part of the household.

And... I hear you. My maternal uncle treats Tuffy (his Labrador) like a second son, even calls him "puta". It is the masculine of "puti", which is a term of endearment for a younger female family member. The closest thing in English would be "sweetie" or something. There is no exact translation.
