    If you watch it for anything other than fun watching the fights, you're doing it wrong. Basically don't overthink it at all.

    Yeah. There are a lot of undiscovered gems out there that are criminally under-appreciated. The 2007 Toward the Terra series is the best example.

    And Platinum Equinox on YouTube recently recommended Joker Game, which I definitely will check out.

    ^ I would recommend that to you as well. It's a spy thriller set in World War II and seems really interesting.

    It is one of the parents of 1990s onwards shounen and has a very strong nostalgia factor.

    Does Dragon Ball have outstanding quality? No. But there is no denying its appeal.

    Good... Good...
    Now continue watching.

    And go by the order I gave you. Do not go by the so-called modified chronological order or by release order.

    I really liked DBS. But I must warn you: Don't go into it expecting high quality writing. It's mostly for the action and nostalgia factor.
