I have said this multiple times before and I will say it again: The US, UK, France, Germany, Italy and other NATO countries all have a moral obligation to take in refugees. They have no right to bitch about it, since they're responsible for most (or all) of the cluster-f@cks from where these refugees come.

Not really. You're basically saying that sons should be punished for the sins of their fathers.

My goverment may have ruined their country back in the day but this in no way obligates me to welcome rapists and murderers and put the safety of my loved ones at risk.

The moral responsibility lies on the shoulders of those who committed the act which is the leading elite, not a regular civilian who was opposed to the whole thing to begin with.

 

Good point. But it still irks me that the politicians of those countries rant about immigrants and refugees after royally raping their homelands.
