This is true. Most of the outrage I've seen over Goblin Slayer seems so fake and clearly attention-whoring.

People will hate what is cool to hate. Just look at Star Wars, where you have toxic fans hating on something just for the sake of hating and not making any valid arguments whatsoever. I mean... There are people who make actual valid criticisms like a rational adult, but the voices of the toxic haters drown them out quickly.

I spent just a few months on Facebook. I left and have never gone back since 2012 or 2013. Good riddance.

You know, both the old Legends and new Canon EU have some absolutely amazing content. Forget the movies. The novels and comics completely shit on any manga/anime out there in terms of quality writing. Ditto for the mainline animated series.

That's not to say that there is no bad shit. There are. I can some Star Wars (mostly Legends) material that is some of the most dull you'll ever see.
