Dubs are almost always going to turn out bad simply fir the fact that japanese and english are such drastically different languages. Sometimes a character will say something that's very short in japanese but lasts longer in english so to match whats happening on the screen the english va will have to talk unnaturally fast only to talk unnaturally slowly when the situation is reverse.

Add to that the different structures of sentences where the english va will either have to talk over a part when the character has their mouth closed or will have to say something else completely thereby not being faithful to the original. There's also a lot of japanese puns that can't be replicated in the dub. (Hence why Monogatari will never get a dub.)

Don't even get me started on the horrible delays in the shows as they can even be hundreds of episodes behind the sub leaving you extremely vulnerable to spoilers and so on.

Point is, watch the show in it's original language. Watch the subs.

There are some anime dubs from the 1980s, 1990s, and even the early 2000s which are so bad that they're legendary for being bad.

anime in general fucks up the manga and its fanbase with fillers. If there weren't fillers in naruto hinata fans wont be this much retarded

also english dub tends to **** up many times even leading to other dubs ******* its as well
an example 8000 becoming 9000 for convenience

 

and there are example in pokemon literally changing the names of attack even when the said pokemon can't use that attack but since it pokemon anime no one complains since its a bigger fuckfest than anything
