Maybe becoz i do not agree with you

Naruto and Neji's conflict was pile of garbage. Neji remained the bird in the cage till his death. Hinata remained a weak pile of horsecrap till the end oc manga

Naruto's TNJ turned out to biggest scam when you find out he is uzumaki;ashura's transmigrant and fourth hokage's son

Funny part it was not naruto who defeated neji it was kurama's chakra and that alone. Even with that he barely won. It was not hardwork defeating genius

Hinata's was the instigator but in a nutshell it did nothing. Hyuga's branch member would still be getting cursed seals and be dying on forefront to save fodders of main branch. It was never addressed

So yeah the role of hinata was limited to be banging pillow for naruto and that too after some alien kidnaps her and naruto somehere in the abyss he loved hinata which he himself nvr realised

Ashura/Indra transmigrants literally ruined the series [IMG]

Lol its funny that even kishimoto symbolises neji being bird in cage till death by showing a bird getting struck by wooden spike after his death

Or shinobi alliance as a bird breaking the cage aka juubi's tail after his death

  4. Neji learned not to view people as mere pawns of their destiny and softened his heart after fighting Naruto. The fact that he was willing to help retreive Sasuke and made peace with his inner demons (most obvious in him being on good terns with Hinata whom he used to despise) is enough to show the gravity that conflict had.

The mark was no longer a curse as he made peace with protecting the main branch.

And if we're talking Hinata's power, I said already that's not important for her character as she played a different role precisely because of her kind nature which made her a flawed ninja. Regardless, Hinata was trained by Neji himself and he said that she was strong. Not fodder level.

None of those things take away from his TNJ. They simply give him the potential to do great things. He had to rise up to that challenge which was no easy task.

Not true. Naruto won using Kurama's chakra. If Kurama had taken over his body and beat Neji to a pulp then you'd have a point but that's not what happened. Naruto had Kurama's chakra at his disposal and he found a way to use it. Even so, he won by being smart and tricking Neji with his Shadow Clone. That was a fair win.

I don't think the series showed us what happened to the families after the war but even if it is the case that the branch members are still serving the main, that doesn't take away from the things that I said. Hinata was very important for the story. You complaining that she didn't do even more isn't relevant.

You still haven't adressed the real contributions of Hinata's character to the story so before you jump to your conclusion you'd better provide some argument for it. Most of your post consisted of red herrings as Naruto's TNJ, Neji's fate, Hyuga family relations etc are irrelevant to what I originally said: characters like Hinata shouldn't be judged according to their power levels but their role in the story.

Not really. Aliens were what ruined it.

You do know kurama couldn't take over his body becoz of the seal. Naruto literally begged for its chakra and literally used it to gain upper hand in the fight. The shroud saved his ass from rotation :isumipissed

  6. That was still Naruto using Kurama's chakra and playing things smart. The chakra would've made no difference had he not done the shadow clone/hole punch trick.

I'm not aboard the Naruto is just borrowing Kurama's power train though. If you want to isolate Naruto from Kurama then you'd have to rewrite the whole series as in order to gain Kurama's power he had to lose everything he had. Think about how things would've been if Naruto was never made into a jinchurriki. He'd be trained by both Jiraya and Minato from day one. He'd be trained by Kushina as well. As the son of the 4th Hokage he'd have access to all sorts of other broken teachers and jutsus. The guy would've likely had raijin, SM, rasengan, clones and a ton of sealing jutsus. If this Naruto were to go against Neji, he'd definitely win.

However, because of the things that happened, he didn't have any of that and instead got this fox monster and was ostracized by the entire village. Kurama's power is both a gift and a curse which he had to learn how to use and was always a fundamental part of his character. I find it really stupid when people complain about him using his Bijuu powers in battle as if it's somehow unfair when in reality, had he not had Kurama he'd still be insanely powerful.

    I guess

  8. Seriously tho, the transmigrant deal wasn't that new. In a nutshell it's the past repeating itself. That theme was around ever since VotE1 when Kakashi compared the destinies of Naruto and Sasuke to those of Hashirama and Madara (them being destined to fight forever). Transmigrant deal simply solidified that in the context of inheriting chakra.

    Good point.

  10. Another throwback to VotE1 would be the whole "when two shinobis clash they see each other's hearts" thing being explained with chakra actually being energy used to connect people. These kinds of throwbacks were what I liked about Kishi.

So would you say you enjoyed early Naruto more or Shippuden?

  12. Obviously Part 1. That's what got me into anime in the long term. Shippuden was tonally different than Part 1 but I still enjoyed it well into the Kage Summit arc. Then the War Arc started and I cooled off from the series.

    Lol what

Chakra was the thing that opened his chakra points first place. Chakra was what boosted his speed;strength and and defence gigantically. Chakra was the only thing that allowed him to keep up against rotation

Its funny how you say it was naruto using it which would have made sense if naruto trained with it but he did not. Neji was facing chakra of something premivel that defeated a prodigy like haku. The more powerful the chakra the stronger your attacks would be

Naruto had a month of training and be didn't learn to control nine tails chakra which he used to beat neji. It was a totally unfair fight.

  14. Yes, Kyuubi's chakra gave him a speed/strength boost but had he not utilized it correctly he would've lost. (Hence the clone trick) And he did train. The whole "use red chakra after you're out of normal chakra" idea came from Jiraya training him to summon that frog.

And refer to my post #82 for the complaint about the fight being "unfair". If anything would be unfair, it would be restricting Naruto because he would be stronger than Neji. (How is that anything but biased?) That fight was not unfair in the slightest.

When you talk bs about being a failure but get your ass beaten by the one you are saying that and the use some primodial power up to beat him using which you are yet to train your whole speech is farce. With Jiraiya he only learned to tap it not control it. He never trained with it. Keyword never trained with it

Yeah that fight was fair when naruto go back and trains his arse to control nine tails chakra rather than just tap it.

And finally it was Neji who died as a caged bird literally proving him true in the End. Call it bad writing of war arc or whatever it was basically naruto's bs that played a part in it
