What sport/game hasn't been turned into an anime yet?

Uh gymnastics?
Tackle rugby?

 

Is that different from normal rugby...?

Rugby has an anime, All Out!!, which was quite fun overall. S2 should come out some day.

Ok here is where I can RANT again...

Sounds like normal rugby then, lol. All Out! ey. They spend a big portion of s1 tackling niggas all over the place. And the MC is an amateur whose talent is tackling and pretty much just that.

 

I think parkour and freerunning would make a pretty good choice. Even though they are gaining a bit more attention these days, they aren't represented in things like anime or manga. There's a lot more to the discipline than many people think, and making an anime series would, if done properly, spread the awareness and influence of the sport, and even encourage people to pick it up possibly.

 

Nothing is ever going to be better then Keijo for me.

But what is freerunning!?

 

Parkour is is about getting from point A to B in the most efficient way possibly, freerunning is the same but you can do whatever the **** you want. (Like flips and flashy shit.)

That's one way to put it, yeah.

 

Don't quote me on it but I think they do that for training in All Out, it's been a while since I've seen it though.

Parkour is, as Aeryn said, moving from point A to point B in the quickest, safest, and most efficient way possible (a combination of the 3).

Freerunning is a much more...subjective experience. Whilst it is still geared towards moving through an environment, its all about expressing oneself through movement, and being able to use the environment as a tool to do so.
